Editor's Note: Can there be anything more relaxing in the heart of downtown than a great cup of coffee and a comfortable easy chair? The coffee shop is not what it used to be, as we have grown to use coffee shops as locations for a first date, a late night hangout, or a business meeting location. Many coffee shops have expanded to offer snacks and meals, and the most popular coffee shops have added the latest convenience – wi-fi (wireless capabilities) for their consumers laptops and PDAs. The smoky dark hangouts of the coolest cats the 60s have given way to comfy chairs, Internet cafes and lattes – but the feeling is the same. What a cool place to hang out.
