Crescent Beach

Caspersen Beach, located on the southern tip of Venice Island in Sarasota County, is known for a very unique trait - shark teeth. A walk along this remote and secluded beach will almost always yeild several of the fossilized teeth which wash up on shore, making this the best "treasure hunting beach" for kids around.
