South Lido Beach Park

South Lido Beach Park is the perfect blend of beach, boating, picnics and recreation. Situated as its name would suggest at the southernmost tip of Lido Key, the park looks out serenly over Big Pass and to the north end beaches of Siesta Key. South Lido Beach Park wraps around the tip of the Key and offers wide open beach, a canoe and kayak trail through the mangroves, a playground and picnic/bar-b-que facilities, and restrooms. This is a favorite spot for boaters to pull up close to shore and join the party. With towering Australian pines as a canopy over much of the park (except the beach) , there is plenty of sdhade for the whole family to enjoy.
