Venice Beach

Venice Beach is located at the west end of Venice Avenue on quaint Venice Island. The beach is long and great for walking, from the jetties at Humphris Park to the boardwalk at popular Sharkey’s. If you enjoy scuba diving, a reef containing fossilized material is located just offshore, allowing for great diving and for finding “treasures”, like the sharks teeth that often wash up on shore. The beach’s amenities include a pavilion with rest rooms, concession, picnic tables and volleyball court. Like all Sarasota County beaches, the ample parking is free.
