The Suncoast Blues Festival Supports Mothers Helping Mothers

February 26 and 27, The 2nd Annual Suncoast Blues Festival, Sarasota Fairgrounds, 3000 Ringling Blvd., Sarasota

With a stellar lineup of some of the hottest musical acts around, this is one event you do not want to miss! Prepare to be blown away by the pulsating and heartfelt melodies that the Blues brings. In beautiful outdoor Sarasota the magic and music will come alive with the best of today’s Blues Billboard artists. Sarasota’s own “Kettle of Fish” will be performing on Saturday night. Non-perishable food items will be collected at the gate to benefit Mothers Helping Mothers, a non-profit 501©3 located in Sarasota. Mothers Helping Mothers is an all volunteer group which provides basic necessities like diapers and food to families in need. Please give generously.

Come on out and rock the weekend like you own it at the 2nd Annual Suncoast Blues Festival, and join in to help a great cause at the same time.

Gates will open at 5pm on Friday; tickets are $15 ADV/$20 Gate. Show times: 6:00pm-10:00pm*
Gates will open at 11am on Saturday; tickets are $20 ADV/$30 Gate. Show times: 12pm-8:45pm*
Two Day Passes are $30 ADV/$40 Gate.
Reserved seating (only available as a two day pass) is $60.
RV sites available $40 per night and includes water, 30amp power and dump station on site.
Tent camping (dry camping with no water and electric) is $25 per night. There are no shower facilities on site.

As the kickoff to the Plant & Garden Festival, the Garden to Plate event will allow attendees to dine on a gourmet meal featuring the freshest fruits and vegetables found in the garden this time of year. Enjoy a festive dinner under the stars in the elegant oasis of Selby Gardens, where the appreciation of the food is heightened by the grand beauty of the plants and flowers. Vendors and horticultural experts will be on hand to offer helpful advice and tips for your gardens. If you’ve been thinking of sprucing up the exterior areas of your home, or maybe your deck needs some color and texture, consider browsing through the hundreds of plants and flowers that will be for sale at this premiere event. Admission is free for members, who are allowed entry an hour before the event begins, and is $19 for guests. New this year is an early entry option for non-members with a fee of $25 allowing them to also have an opportunity to purchase plants and flowers before the event opens.
